History and distinctive features

This Protestant churchyard, established around 1250, surrounds Schmargendorf village church and directly adjoins the larger municipal cemetery. One surviving historic monument is Peter Gottfried Salomon Schmidt’s grave cross from 1844. The neighbouring cemeteries are separate entries in Berlin’s inventory.
