History and distinctive features
The cemetery on Friedenstraße was created as an extension of Mariendorf’s old village churchyard. Its neo-Gothic chapel was built in 1905–1906 to designs by Carl Roemert. South of the chapel is the war memorial field with Hermann Möller’s monument of 1923.
