For a grave-location enquiry, contact the responsible cemetery administration at friedhofsverwaltung@ba-ts.berlin.de. Give the deceased person’s name, the cemetery and any known birth, death or burial dates; ask for the section and plot number. After the resting period or plot rights expire, an administrative search incurs a charge even if it is unsuccessful.

Allocation of grave rights

Plot rights are normally acquired for 20 years. Selected and family plots may be extended; row and communal plots cannot be extended. Arrange the particular plot type and available space with the responsible administration.

Calculated examples under the 2026 tariff for a new plot and one interment without a ceremony: communal coffin plot €1,803, anonymous communal urn plot €704. They include the €52 administration charge, basic cemetery fee and interment; provision and maintenance are also included where required for that plot type. If the cemetery cannot store a coffin, the coffin-interment charge is reduced by €15. A ceremony of up to 30 minutes normally adds €159. Memorials, additional services, cremation and funeral-director costs are excluded. New charges take effect on 1 January 2027; the tariff in force when the application is received determines the charge.

Coffin burials Wednesday 09:00–13:00; urn interments Tuesday 09:00–13:00 and Friday 09:00–12:00. Arrange the individual appointment with the administration.

The protected Art Nouveau chapel seats up to 70 mourners, with heated benches, an organ space and a waiting room.

For a selected plot, clarify individual care arrangements when the plot is allocated. Where communal graves are offered, maintenance of the shared green area is part of that arrangement.

Wheelchairs and a platform lift are available; arrange assistance in advance. The lift platform is 700 × 750 mm with a 225 kg load limit.

A portable toilet is available at the main entrance from 1 April to 30 November. Water is usually supplied from April until after Eternity Sunday in November.
