Telephone hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday09:00–12:00. In-person consultation is currently unavailable.

Grave types and allocation

Selected and row plots for coffins and urns, plus anonymous communal urn plots.

Allocation of grave rights

Plot rights are normally acquired for 20 years. Selected and family plots may be extended; row and communal plots cannot be extended. Arrange the particular plot type and available space with the responsible administration.

Costs and cemetery fees

Calculated examples under the 2026 tariff for a new plot and one interment without a ceremony: selected coffin plot €842, row coffin plot €765, selected urn plot €669, row urn plot €639, anonymous communal urn plot €704. They include the €52 administration charge, basic cemetery fee and interment; provision and maintenance are also included where required for that plot type. The €15 reduction because coffin storage is unavailable is already included in the coffin-plot examples. The funeral hall has a reduced additional charge of €116 for up to 30 minutes. Memorials, additional services, cremation and funeral-director costs are excluded. New charges take effect on 1 January 2027; the tariff in force when the application is received determines the charge.

Funeral dates and ceremonies

Appointments are arranged hourly: Monday–Thursday 08:00–14:00, Friday 08:00–12:00. The 14:00 slot, or noon on Fridays, is for a ceremony without a subsequent burial.

Funeral hall and chapel

The funeral hall has about 50 seats and an organ, but no CD player. There is no waiting room, so mourners meet outside the hall. Coffins cannot be stored on site.

Grave care and local services

For a selected plot, clarify individual care arrangements when the plot is allocated. Where communal graves are offered, maintenance of the shared green area is part of that arrangement.

Notable graves and memorials

Section 9 contains 13 individual graves of Second World War victims.

Accessibility and facilities

Water is normally turned off from 31 October to 31 March.
