Available options: selected coffin graves, row coffin graves, selected urn graves, row urn graves, named communal urn areas, urn wall niches, sponsorship of historic graves.
Resting period
Under the church cemetery law, the resting period is at least 20 years; local cemetery rules may specify a longer period. Ask the administration for the applicable period and the term of the grave-use right.
Costs and cemetery fees
Example charges: coffin burial €753; burial of an urn in the ground €171. Grave-use rights are charged separately. A chapel ceremony of up to 30 minutes costs €146, plus €48 for each further started ten-minute period. A memorial and agreed care may add to the total. Ask the administration for the complete calculation.

Location profile
History and distinctive features
Heilig-Kreuz Churchyard on Eisenacher Straße has an ensemble of chapel, gateway and cemetery keeper’s house. Gustav Erdmann designed the neo-Gothic brick chapel of 1892–93. Mosaics decorate the entrance gate, which was added in the early twentieth century.
