History and distinctive features
Luisenfriedhof III was laid out on a former sand quarry on Spandauer Berg. A regular grid of tree-lined paths leads to the chapel in the central roundel. Johannes Vollmer and Heinrich Jassoy designed the red-brick building of 1892–93 using Early Gothic forms.
