Grave types and allocation
Available options: selected coffin graves, row coffin graves, anonymous lawn coffin graves, selected urn graves, row urn graves, anonymous communal urn areas, named communal urn areas, partner graves, graves in the children’s section.
Resting period
Under the church cemetery law, the resting period is at least 20 years; local cemetery rules may specify a longer period. Ask the administration for the applicable period and the term of the grave-use right.
Costs and cemetery fees
Example charges: coffin burial €753; burial of an urn in the ground €171. Grave-use rights are charged separately. A chapel ceremony of up to 30 minutes costs €146, plus €48 for each further started ten-minute period. A memorial and agreed care may add to the total. Ask the administration for the complete calculation.

History and distinctive features
Segens Cemetery was established for the Zion congregation in 1882 and taken over by the Segen congregation in 1908. Its historic ensemble includes the chapel, administration building, enclosure and gateway. A circular space with a statue of Jesus is a distinctive landmark within the grounds on Gustav-Adolf-Straße.
