Access is via Freienwalder Straße 19 b. The joint plan shows the boundary with St Elisabeth II and the grave sections of both cemeteries.

Available options: selected coffin graves, graves in the children’s section, burial sections for other faiths.
Resting period
Under the church cemetery law, the resting period is at least 20 years; local cemetery rules may specify a longer period. Ask the administration for the applicable period and the term of the grave-use right.
Costs and cemetery fees
Example charges: coffin burial €753; burial of an urn in the ground €171. Grave-use rights, any funeral hall booking, memorial and care are charged separately. The administration calculates the total for the chosen grave.

Funeral hall and chapel
The cemetery’s own chapel is no longer used for funerals. Ceremonies for Sophien III take place in the neighbouring St Elisabeth II chapel.

History and distinctive features
Sophien Cemetery III on Freienwalder Straße has a geometric path layout. A yellow-brick chapel with an open porch, built in 1877–78, stands at the entrance. Distinctive funerary buildings include the granite-clad Stange mausoleum of 1910.
