Grave types and allocation

Both coffin and urn burials are possible. The administration confirms which selected, row and communal graves are available at the desired location.

Resting period

The standard resting period is 20 years; renewal of the right of use depends on the grave type.

Costs and cemetery fees

The grave type and term of use determine the grave fees; the administration calculates the charges for the intended burial.

Funeral dates and ceremonies

Coffin and urn burials are possible on working days. Arrange a date and ceremony with the burial office at Lock@zwoelf-apostel-berlin.de.

Funeral hall and chapel

The chapel seats about 80. There is no audio system; an organist and bearers can be booked through the administration.

Grave care and local services

The cemetery gardening team offers short-term care, annual contracts and long-term grave care, including watering, seasonal planting, pruning and grave decoration. Request an individual quotation from the administration.

Location profile

History and distinctive features

Laid out to Carl David Bouché’s design in 1864, the churchyard retains its original paths and lime-tree avenues. Elaborate family tombs line the enclosing walls. The entrance from Kolonnenstraße passes through the gateway of a residential building.

Visiting and use
Visits are possible daily during seasonal opening hours. The office has separate consultation hours.
