History and distinctive features
Alt-Britz Village Churchyard belongs to the historic church ensemble on a rise beside the village pond. The Hertzberg family’s burial chapel was added to the church in 1766 and now serves as its vestry. This small village-centre burial ground is separate from the larger Britz II Cemetery on Koppelweg.
