Location profile
History and distinctive features
The old village burial ground surrounds the church on Heiligensee’s village green between the lake and the Upper Havel. Gravestones of long-established local families survive. Gustav Rothschild’s stone from 1893 also recalls the former separate section for people who died by suicide.
