Location profile

History and distinctive features

The walled churchyard at Dorfstraße 38c surrounds the remains of Malchow’s village church. The building was blown up in April 1945; a surviving arch later became part of an anti-war memorial. The old cemetery also contains a First World War memorial and a commemorative stone for an unknown soldier.
