History and distinctive features
Founded in 1780 for descendants of the Huguenots, this cemetery directly adjoins Dorotheenstadt-Friedrichswerder Cemetery. Its graves include those of printmaker Daniel Chodowiecki and actor Ludwig Devrient. The elaborate Ravené tomb combines architecture by Friedrich August Stüler with sculpture by Gustav Blaeser.
