Access is from Ackerstraße; the plan marks another gate on Wolliner Straße. The chapel and WC are in the southwestern area.

Resting period
Under the church cemetery law, the resting period is at least 20 years; local cemetery rules may specify a longer period. Ask the administration for the applicable period and the term of the grave-use right.
Costs and cemetery fees
Example charges: coffin burial €753; burial of an urn in the ground €171. Grave-use rights are charged separately. A chapel ceremony of up to 30 minutes costs €146, plus €48 for each further started ten-minute period. A memorial and agreed care may add to the total. Ask the administration for the complete calculation.

History and distinctive features
Lime-tree avenues divide St Elisabeth Cemetery I on Ackerstraße. At the crossing of the main paths stands a neo-Gothic cast-iron cross donated by Frederick William IV in 1851. The large Wollank family tomb is an example of Renaissance Revival funerary architecture.
