Resting period
Under the church cemetery law, the resting period is at least 20 years; local cemetery rules may specify a longer period. Ask the administration for the applicable period and the term of the grave-use right.
Costs and cemetery fees
Example charges: coffin burial €753; burial of an urn in the ground €171. Grave-use rights are charged separately. A chapel ceremony of up to 30 minutes costs €146, plus €48 for each further started ten-minute period. A memorial and agreed care may add to the total. History and distinctive features
Georgen-Parochial Cemetery V forms part of the cemetery complex on Friedenstraße. Its historic monuments include Renaissance Revival wall tombs for Heinrich Ludwig Lobeck and Julius Carl Friedrich Namslau. Parts of the original cemetery grounds were later given over to other uses.
