History and distinctive features
Parochial Churchyard forms a surviving Baroque ensemble with its church and crypt near Berlin’s old city wall. Historic epitaphs, iron grave crosses and two mausoleums remain in the churchyard. The funerary monuments were repaired during restoration of the site.
