Finding a grave
For a grave-location enquiry, contact the responsible cemetery administration at kerstin.habermann@ba-tk.berlin.de. Give the deceased person’s name, the cemetery and any known birth, death or burial dates; ask for the section and plot number. After the resting period or plot rights expire, an administrative search incurs a charge even if it is unsuccessful.
Cemetery administration and contact
Treptow-Köpenick cemetery administration, Neue Krugallee 4, 12435 Berlin; responsible officer: Ms Habermann.

Grave types and allocation
Selected coffin and urn plots and a communal urn area. The borough lists row coffin and urn plots as planned.
Allocation of grave rights
Plot rights are normally acquired for 20 years. Selected and family plots may be extended; row and communal plots cannot be extended. Arrange the particular plot type and available space with the responsible administration.
Costs and cemetery fees
Calculated examples under the 2026 tariff for a new plot and one interment without a ceremony: selected coffin plot €857, selected urn plot €669, anonymous communal urn plot €704. They include the €52 administration charge, basic cemetery fee and interment; provision and maintenance are also included where required for that plot type. If the cemetery cannot store a coffin, the coffin-interment charge is reduced by €15. Memorials, additional services, cremation and funeral-director costs are excluded. New charges take effect on 1 January 2027; the tariff in force when the application is received determines the charge.
Funeral hall and chapel
The former funeral hall was demolished; a planted resting area with benches occupies its site.
Grave care and local services
For a selected plot, clarify individual care arrangements when the plot is allocated. Where communal graves are offered, maintenance of the shared green area is part of that arrangement.
Accessibility and facilities
Grounds and paths have step-free access. There is no funeral hall or public toilet.
Visiting information and walks
From 7 September until an expected 18 September 2026, construction restricts use of the main path.
